The National Ozone Garden Network, is a collaborative effort to support gardens across the U.S. that monitor ground-level ozone. Unlike the protective ozone layer in the upper atmosphere, ground-level ozone is toxic and can be detected through visible damage on bioindicator plants.
By joining this project, you can contribute to scientific research by observing and documenting ozone damage on plant leaves. Your data will help answer key questions about ozone concentrations, the severity of plant damage, and regional variations.
